I really like this camera, this is not the first Pentax Waterproof I own, but it is way better than the one I got 5 yeras ago.
I do have a problem with the delivery since I paid an extra $20 to get it on the next day but got it 5 days later.
I also did not get the free gadgets it was supposed to come with like the camera’s case, memory card, etc.
When I bought it on line the package was made of plastic with the camera and all the gadgets at view, when I got it the camera came on a box without any extra gadgets.

I’ve never written an online product review before, but this product was poor enough to make me want to do so. I bought this camera because it was far cheaper than some of the more highly-rated waterproof digital cameras (Canon D10 or Panasonic Lumix TS1). I figured some of the things people complained about (slow shutter time or insufficient features) just didn’t matter to me, and being 2010, I thought image quality would be fine even if it wasn’t the top-rated camera. Well, I was wrong. Under optimal conditions — bright sunlight outdoors — it does okay, though clarity is still not great and coloration is off. I tried a bunch of settings too. When it’s a bit darker, such as any indoor shots even with the lights on — pictures really appear very grainy and the quality is very poor. I compared the images side-by-side with shots taken by my non-waterproof Canon SD1200 and the Canon images were far, far superior. Anyway, the pics were unacceptable enough to me that I decided it wasn’t worth the $200 and sent the camera back to Amazon.

This camera is definitely tough and durable. It takes an excellent photo, but you really need to read the whole manual and make sure you use the proper setting for the best picture quality. Overall we are very satified with our purchase.
